Find of the Day: For Lovers of Gingham

Um, styling the cutest summer dress ever today on SS!  I discovered this adorable number online at ASOS and just had to have it - I'm not gonna lie, it was pretty much love at first sight.  I'm a fan of all things girly so this find was a total must-have. It also didn't hurt that it was on sale for $34 (originally $53).  Made of 100% polyester, this piece features a cold-shoulder neckline, a keyhole front, and to-die-for-cute bow detailing on the sleeves.  As a plus, the silhouette's super relaxed so you won't overheat during the summer.  Click here to purchase!
For my latest OOTD, I wore my new mini with embellished Badgley Mischka sandals and an ivory crossbody bag to match - there's a lot going on with my dress so I didn't want to risk over-accessorizing so I skipped jewelry altogether today. For those of you wondering, I got these shoes WAY back in the day so unfortunately, I can't link you to these, but I'll make sure to post other lustworthy styles below.
As promised, all under $75:
A closer look at my Drew!  If you want to see my designer bag collection in its entirety, click here.  I blogged about it all a while back, BUT I actually need to update the post since I bought a few pieces since then, haha.  Who here's a bag fiend as well? If you are, comment below with your fave designer. Mine's probably Chanel and YSL!

Find of the Day: The Cable Knit Poncho

I'm super excited to share today's post with you guys because I'm featuring my latest designer find on Sensible Stylista!  I picked this luxe Christopher Fischer poncho up last week at Last Call Neiman Marcus for $110 - there was a special promo going on so I got an extra discount on top of an already-reduced price tag.  Currently, it's available online for $144.50 - click here to purchase.  I know that's still quite pricy, but trust me, you're getting a great deal because it was originally $450.  This sophisticated piece oozes steeze with its slouchy turtleneck, dolman sleeves, and oversized silhouette. It'll become a closet favorite in no time! I've personally already worn this several times already.  It's effortlessly stylish, warm, and comfortable.  TIP: Use code LCSHIP to get free shipping on your order!

Look for Less: DVF Zarita Lace Dress

I haven't done a "Look for Less" post in a while so I thought, why not?  For today's blast, I'm sharing a fab find with you guys!  I've always been a HUGE fan of Diane von Furstenberg, but let's be real here errbody.  You gots to spend serious moolah to score one of her designs SO I've found y'all a SWEET affordable alternative because I'm all sorts of helpful.
4

I haven't done a look for less in quite some time now so I'm extra excited to share today's find with y'all.  Mansur Gavriel's bucket bag ($595) is an exquisite yet pricey classic made of tanned black leather.  It comes with a detachable wallet, adjustable strap, and customizable interior - you choose from 8 different shades. Due to its popularity, the bag has sold out completely - it's apparently being restocked later this year? Who knows when though!  Lucky for you guys, I found a fabulous alternative for a fraction of the price.

Baginc sells a similar piece HERE for $109, which is $486 cheaper (!!!) As you can see, it looks a lot like the Gavriel, and by "a lot," I mean pretty much identical.  Let's talk differences though! The designer-inspired version is made of calf leather and is slightly smaller than the original - here are dimensions for you guys:  11.8" H x 9.8" W x 5.9" D vs.  12.25" H x 10" W x 6" D.  It doesn't come with a detachable wallet, and obviously, it's missing the Mansur Gavriel logo.  If those aren't dealbreakers for y'all, I highly recommend this bag!  It's super cute and versatile - perfect for daily wear. If you get sick of carrying your everyday tote, you can swap it out with this!

What do you guys think of this look for less?  Is this something you would carry?

Where to Buy Cute Sneakers under $10

Alright guys, we're talking all about affordable sneakers today on Sensible Stylista.  Personally, I don't like to sport 'em that often because I'm short - I rely on visual illusions to elongate my legs/make me feel better about myself - but I do wear them from time to time to mix things up.  I can't justify splurging because I'm sensible and consider CPW (cost per wear), but I get equally cute sneakers at stores like Danice for less.
Danice sells three types of sneakers: classic tennis shoes, lace-ups, and slip-ons.  I own one of each because, well, they're cute and budget-friendly!  Their lace-ups & slip-ons are currently on sale HERE for $5.99, and their tennis shoes, originally $25.99, are available for $9.99 HERE.  Note: half sizes aren't available, but their shoes run large so round down.
I recommend copping a pair of their tennis shoes and lace-ups!  Their slip-ons are comfy, but they're a bit too thin for my taste.  Honestly, I think you guys would get much better wear out of the first two. I like neutral colors so I went with gray, white, and black, but they carry a ton of other hues/prints so get your browse on STAT.

How do you guys feel about sneakers? Do you wear them on the daily or just when you're working out? Do you prefer splurging on expensive tennis shoes or buying affordable versions like me?

Find of the Day: The Cable-Knit Cardigan ($44.99)

Soooo, I know I don't usually blog on Tuesdays, but I had to post today because I found THE most amazing cardigan on sale at Saks Off 5th.  I needed to treat myself - I've been super stressed as of late - so I went to Tanger Outlets to get my shop on.  Lucky for you guys, this sweater's available online for the same price.  As I'm sure y'all know, I'm a huge fan of long outerwear for a variety of reasons. If you need a refresher, refer back to my article, "9 Ways to Hide Muffin Top with Fashion."
This cardigan is currently on sale for $44.99 here - you're getting 67% off since it was originally $139. I promise that it's worth every penny.  I've seen $45+ jackets at Forever 21, and there's no comparison in quality.  You will ooze serious steeze (style + ease).  It's comfortable, cute, and versatile. The fit's on the loose side - think super stylish boyfriend cardi - so size down.  I bought an xs, and it fits me perfectly!  The faux-fur collar doesn't shed at all, and it looks "expensive," which is really important because I'm allergic to all things cheap-looking, ha.
As always, let me know if you have any questions! I'm here for you guys 24/7.  Don't be afraid to hit me up with styling questions.

I had so much fun doing this "Top 5 Fall/Winter Coats" post that I thought I'd do another.  For today's post, I've compiled my fave holiday dress picks for y'all!  All affordable of course.  If you have any questions, just comment below! Oh, and I've provided post links under each photo if you'd like additional deets *smiles*
All Sorts of Fancy
 1.  Charlotte Russe Sparkle Bodycon Dress ($30) - This dress is absolutely gorgeous.  The fabric's to die for - the metallic thread sparkles like whoa, and the diamond-shaped pattern is ridiculously fab! The piece is tight, but it has stretch to it so it's mad comfy.  FYI:  it has three-quarter sleeves and a deep scoop neck in back!  I'd show you, but I suck at taking back shots for some reason.  You can clicky to see though!
Sensible Stylista x H&M
2.  H&M Lace Dress ($24.95) - This adorable mini-dress is a total must-have, especially if you're on the shorter side.  I say that because the item is a bit short, but then again, all you'd really have to do is throw on a pair of black tights to go from potentially scandalous to chic, ha!  Anywho, this fab piece is available in red as well.  The lace's super girly yet sexy.
The Lace Bodycon Dress
 3.  Deb Lace Bodycon Dress ($27) - SO much winning going on with this sophisticated number. This dress is a seriously classy and versatile - you'll be wearing it for years to come.  Fab for work AND play!  Hurry and scoop this up while you can because I'm pretty sure it's gonna sell out soon.
Best Thing I Never Had
4.  Deb Popover Dress ($24.30) - A fun and flirty dress that's perfect for the holiday season!  The flowy top complements the tight skirt beautifully - remember, it's all about balance.  Plus, who could pass up glitter & chevon? *grins*
The Embroidered Chiffon Dress
5.  Roxx Chiffon Dress ($51.99) - Ok, so this piece is not under $50 BUT (!!!) I have a discount code for you guys so it'll be like $10 cheaper, ha!  That's how I'm justifing my post title *smiles*  Use code 20SENSIBLE at checkout to get an extra 20% off.  ANYWHO, this beautiful dress is a freakin' home run.  Break necks left and right wearing this classy piece!  Lace cuffs + high neck?  I think YES!

PS.  I'll be hosting ANOTHER international giveaway today at 4:30 EST so make sure you check back!

Find of the Day: The Brooke Open Shoulder Top ($32)

Stoked to tell you guys about today's find!  This fab open shoulder top (available HERE) from Pretty & Chic Boutique is a serious must-have.  The crochet lace detailing is super pretty, and the cutouts are on point!  I don't normally like baring my shoulders - I'm self conscious about my arms, don't judge me - but this top is too cute to pass up.  Oh, and FYI: $32 for the sweater + FREE SHIPPING.
I also really like the material.  It  feels really nice against my skin - it's 55% rayon and 45% polyester.   The top's available in three sizes online: small, medium, and large.  I've included some additional shots below for your convenience!
A closer look at the crochet detailing...
 An obligatory back shot...
I love that you can dress this top up AND down.  It also transitions well season to season.  What do you guys think?  Yea or nay?  Would you purchase this piece?  On another note, how do you feel about this series?

Find of the Day: The Casual Cutout Dress ($15)

It's time for another fab find, guys!  I'm super pumped to tell you all about my new dress from AMICLUBWEAR.  If you've been following me on IG, you know that I'm currently on a cruise in the Caribbean! Anddd I don't know about y'all, but I'm all about feeling comfortable when I'm bumming around, which (very conveniently) brings me to today's post.  This fab sweaterdress is a serious must-have - it oozes steeze and is one of the most comfortable pieces I own.
I dressed mine down with snakeskin slippers for poolside fun and elevated it with fancy accessories and platform pumps for dinner.  The dress is made of a polyester/spandex blend and features a scoop neckline with cutout sleeves - think of it as the wearable dress form of sweats.  If you're a fan of loose or oversized silhouettes, you'll fall head over heels in love with this design.  I own it in size small, and I love the way it drapes my bod!  For those of you interested, it's also available in black HERE!

Find of the Day + Ann Taylor Shoe Sale

Alright guys, I literally JUST featured these heels in today's post - click here if you missed it.  However, I wanted to showcase 'em again for a number of reasons.

1.  They're ridiculously cute and comfortable - that's saying A LOT because they're almost 4" high.
2.  They're on sale for $35 (!!!) - they were originally $138.
3.  Everyone needs animal print in their life, ha.
4.  ...and I need to share more crazy fashionable shoe picks from Ann Taylor's sale with you guys.
I mean, just look at those heels!  They're SO cute, and they add so much personality to an ensemble.  If you're afraid of wearing animal print because you find it bold, these heels are a good way to start.  The print's very subtle due to its neutral color.  At 3.75", these shoes may seem intimidating, but like I said, they're super comfy because they have padded footbeds.    You also don't have to worry about them slipping off because they have zippered straps.  I can't recommend these enough!  Make sure you buy a pair for yourself HERE.
Left / Middle (I own these in beige) / Right

Also, I'm sure you guys already know this, but Ann Taylor's giving you guys an extra 50% off ALL sale styles so make sure you get your browse on.
3

Find of the Day: The Mesh Midi ($27)

Alright guys, it's time for another find of the day. I'm pumped to share my latest purchase with y'all today on SS! I copped this baby online at ASOS a week ago (available for purchase here), and I couldn't be happier with my buy. I'm convinced that I stumbled upon another magical LBD (I talked about one HERE a while back). The silhouette's flattering yet forgiving, and it's super comfortable because it has an elastic waist.

Now, don't get me wrong, I love bodycon and all, but I really have to be in the mood for it.  If I feel even the slightest bit of bloat, I'll feel self-conscious all night long which is NOT my idea of fun. This piece, on the other hand, is a design you can always whip out.  So, if you're looking to impress this holiday season, pick this dress up STAT.  You really have nothing to lose because ASOS has an amazing (aka free) return policy.
I absolutely love that this dress is both sexy and classy at the same time! The cutout front + mesh fabric ooze sex appeal while the length balances everything out.  You're not really showing anything which keeps it classy in my opinion.  Your legs & cleavage are covered so you're just workin' that playful peek of skin.

Made of a polyester + elastane blend, this dress is machine wash so you don't have to worry about taking it to the cleaners.  For those of you wondering, I bought this in a US 4, and it fits me beautifully.  The straps are adjustable so it works for girls with bigger busts!  So, who here's looking for a fab new holiday dress? Where do you typically shop for 'em? Are there colors or cuts you prefer?  Make sure y'all leave me a comment below! I always love hearing from you guys.

Find of the Day: The Striped Romper ($29)

A few days ago, I published a post on SS called, "How-to Look Polished AF in 5 Minutes or Less."  I focused on my summer makeup routine because I was partnering up with Jordana Cosmetics, but I saved some pics for today's find of the day.  This romper is, hands down, one of my absolute faves; lucky for you guys, it's currently on sale online at ASOS for $29 (originally $42).
I can't even begin to tell you all how much I love this romper!  It's made of a lightweight woven fabric that'll keep you nice and cool during the hottest of days, and it has a relaxed fit so you'll feel super comfortable wearing it.  The fine folks at ASOS call it a "beach romper," but IMHO it works for all occasions.  Wear it with white sneakers for a casual everyday look or pair it with fancy sandals for a lunch date.  For those of you wondering, I'm wearing a size 4, and it fits me perfectly - purchase it here before it sells out!
Other styles that are perfect for summer (all under $50):

I topped my look off with a fabulous sunhat from Dynamic Asia because it's the ultimate warm-weather accessory anddd it's cool to practice safe sun.  They're wholesale though so you have to buy a minimum of 3 per style.  I suggest getting together with a few friends and splitting costs because they're selling super high quality pieces for helllllla cheap.  I own several so I can seriously vouch for their quality!

Look for Less: The Chanel Boy

A while back, I spent (basically) all my money on a Chanel Boy bag.  I had admired the brand for SO long - ever since I was a kid - and I had finally saved enough moolah to buy one.  I was hella poor but giddy like a 5-year-old opening presents on Christmas day, ha.

It was def. an investment - in case you guys were wondering, I have zero regret  - but I work two jobs in addition to blogging full-time, performing, and studying for a doctoral degree AND second master's so treating myself is a necessity, ha!  My occasional splurges and at-home spa nights keep me sane and HAPPY.

With that said, not everyone can afford a boy bag hence I jumped at the opportunity to review Bag Inc's Chanel-inspired medium leather bag.  It's made of high-quality leather and has antique silver metal hardware.  To be honest, it really does look like the real deal from afar, haha.  What gives it away is the logo.  If you're lusting over the original design, this version is a GREAT alternative.  Available here for $109 (versus $4500+) in several colors.

If you have any questions, shoot me an email (sensiblestylista87@gmail.com) or leave me a comment below.  I own both so I can give you feedback/advice.

Find of the Day: My Dream LBD

I'm beyond excited to tell you guys about my latest find!  I bought this dress online last week at Last Call Neiman Marcus for $67 (originally $168).  They were having a huge sale so I took advantage and bought 10 different things.  Yeah, I know, I kind of have an online shopping problem, BUT I'm returning 9/10 because of fit, fabric and all that good stuff.  There were definitely a lot of duds, but in the process, I found my dream LBD so it was all worth it.

This stunning piece is seriously everything.  Way to go, Catherine Malandrino!  You totally killed it with this one. This dress seriously flatters every possible shape and size - think sisterhood of the traveling LBD. Featuring cold-shoulder (aka shoulder cut-outs) short sleeves, a subtly sexy v-neckline, and a twisted bodice with a cascading ruffle.  You'll be breaking necks left and right!
I bought a size 2, and it couldn't fit me better.  The twisted bodice really flatters - it makes my waist look super tiny, and the best part? It's ridiculously comfortable, like I could wear it at home to binge-watch Netflix with my dog while shoveling chinese delivery down my throat. Perfect for all occasions, this dress is a serious must-have.

Now, the price went up to $75, but even so, it's worth every cent.  You can wear it out to an event, date night, work - basically, wherever you want.  Do yourself a favor and cop this while you can - click HERE to purchase!  Oh, and you're welcome in advance.

Find of the Day: Cynthia Mesh Pumps from BCBGeneration ($29.39)

Super excited to tell you guys about today's FOTD.  I picked these babies up Friday afternoon!  I love living next to a mall that has Off Saks and Last Call, ha.  These heels (originally $89) are available for $29.39 here.  Love at first sight - I mean, the mesh + cap toe + leather ankle strap? So much winning.

These kicks are 4.25" high, but don't let that intimidate you.  Trust me, I'm AWFUL in heels (I kind of walk like a donkey, don't judge) so I'm extremely particular.  The leather strap will keep the shoe ON for starters, ha, and the mesh has a lot of give so your footsies will be all sorts of comfortable.  I can't wait to wear these loves out and about.  Great for work AND play - fits true to size.  Also available in red HERE and blue HERE.  I own the shoes in black, and I would've bought a pair in red, but they're out of 6.5's *sad face*

I'll be shopping quite a bit this week (I'm on Spring break) so I'll be sharing more finds with you guys.  I only recommend pieces I OWN so I can vouch for quality, and all FOTD's are purchased with my OWN money.  If a featured piece happens to be gifted, I'll let you guys know!

Find of the Day: Retro Cat Eye Sunnies ($9.95)

I'm super excited to share today's FOTD with you guys.  These adorable retro shades are currently available at +FREYRS for $9.95 (!!!!) I can't even begin to tell y'all how much I love these babies. I'm a HUGE fan of Freyrs - I mean, I guess it's obvious. I've featured them on SS so many times already, haha.

These shades though.  I personally own the black with dark solid lenses (pictured below), and I'm totes obsessed.  The silver embellishments are beyond cute, and the sunnies are mad lightweight.  A serious must-have fosho.  Available in three other colors HERE.  PS. US & Canadian residents get free shipping *pumps fist* SO much winning.  International friends can purchase pieces for a flat $4.99.  Still a great deal because Freyrs sunnies are so affordable.  Do yourself a favor and browse their collection STAT.
